Reminder to file the December 10th Report of Receipts & Expenditures

This notice is to remind treasurers of principal campaign committees for candidates in the 2015 special election, 2016 primary election and the participating PACs to electronically file the December 10th Report of Receipts & Expenditures (R&E Report).  This report is due on Thursday, December 10, 2015 and must cover all financial activity that has occurred since the filing of the committee’s last report.
 
For Political Action Committees (PACs) that were not participants in the 2015 election, please be advised that if you wish to maintain that status for the 2016 election and be absolved from filing the December 10th R&E Report, the PAC must file a new Notification of Non-Support (OCF Form 12) indicating such.
 
For the 2015 candidates, please be advised that within six (6) months after the election in which the candidate was a participant, the candidate’s principal campaign committee should disburse of any surplus funds as outlined on its Statement of Organization and electronically file a Termination Report of Receipts & Expenditures showing the committee has an ending balance of $0 with no remaining debts & obligations or outstanding fines.  However, until the committee is able to do this, it must continue to file the required R&E Reports with this Office.
