The DC Office of Campaign Finance (OCF) has concluded its investigation of the Gray for Mayor 2010 principal campaign committee.  Following referral from the Reports Analysis & Audit Division to the Office of the General Counsel, it was concluded that the committee was in violation of the Campaign Finance Act by engaging in the following activities:

1) Accepting excessive contributions
2) Disbursement of cash payment to individuals
3) Failing to maintain proper record keeping procedures regarding payments to consultants without the benefit of a written contract.
As a result of the violations, the OCF has imposed fines totaling $10,000 against the committee.
